SRAM RED Rear Derailleur Cage Replacement

I broke a dura ace chain yesterday, and the resulting carnage broke the carbon jump stop tab on my rear derailleur cage. In other words, the derailleur will still work, but the carbon tab that is intended to prevent the chain from skipping off the lower pulley is gone. Given the terrain where I ride (SF and Marin county), I feel like that is an accident waiting to happen.

My LBS could not find a replacement cage sold by SRAM, but I found that a company in the UK called fibre-lyte makes an aftermarket cage that should work. See https://www.fibre-lyte.co.uk/ I just ordered one an I'm hopeful it will fit.

Does anyone have experience with the replacement of such a cage, either with SRAM original or something aftermarket? I can't imagine it will be too terribly difficult to replace, but any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Bikes: too many bikes from 1967 10s (5x2)Frejus to a Sumitomo Ti/Chorus aluminum 10s (10x2), plus one non-susp mtn bike I use as my commuter

Have your dealer phone back to the Sram service center and ask for Ed N. I'm sure they have a complete cage assembly available even if it's off a slightly used defective derailleur. Carbon cages break, and RED RDs are too pricey for them not to have replacements.
