Super Six Lower Bearing 36/45 or 45/45 with Cdale crown race?
Hi All,
I tried search without enough help on something that I am trying to determine. (And, I've searched online elsewhere and still have some confusion).
I am building up a 2011 Supersix frame that I purchased without a fork.
I happen to have a Cdale SS fork with a crown race on it.
I need to get a headset, and, at the moment, I will likely get the SSix headset.
However, I am also looking at buying non Cannondale parts. My only question is about the inner and outer angles of the lower 1.5 bearing.
Does anyone know with certainty whether the inner/outer bearing angles are 36/45 or 45/45 for the crown race that comes with a Cannondale SuperSix fork?
I certainly understand that I could buy Cane Creek that would fit and not have to worry about it as long as I use the Cane Creek crown race (and my understanding
is that the Cane Creek 1.5 that could be used on the SS is 36/45 -- I have a sneaking suspicion though that the Cdale SS crown race is 45/45).
But, right now I am looking at using the Cdale crown race which is on the fork that I have. Hence, my desire to know whether it is either 36/45 or 45/45.
Thank you.

I'll remove my Cannondale System Six fork -- as System Six and Super Six fork are compatible -- and look for the numbers, which should appear, on the side of the bearing.
