Yes, it is a one man show. I've had dealings with him more than once. Sometimes takes a while, but always a satisfactory outcome in my experience.

One of these would be great mounted into the front wheel of a 3-wheeled handcycle- drive, braking and reverse all through the hand cranks. The only other control you'd need is the shifter. Looks like the drive sprocket is only bolted in place so could be removed and the hub used normally.
