Front derailleur to far from seat tube? Cant reach inner chain ring

Front derailleur to far from seat tube? Cant reach inner chain ring
Hello,
my bike, based on a Dedacciai U2 frame, is nearly finished:
Mostly 6500 ultegra, 7700 DA shifters and FD-6600. Crankset is a Bianchi labeled crank but I guess it's a 53/39 FSA K-Force Light (can someone comfirm?). Bottom bracket is a Truvativ Gigapipe Team SL (ISIS based) 108mm
Anyways; my front derailleur is a Shimano Ultegra FD-6600 connected to the seat tube via a noname clamp. Nothing special. But with the limit screws totally unscrewed the base level is already to far outside. What's incompatible? The Clamp, the FD, the length of the bottom bracket axle (108mm) or something else?

The cable is certainly slack so that's not the problem. 
I'm assuming that you've pushed the FD in with your fingers. Have you checked that a pebble or something else isn't jamming it?
Is there in/out adjustment on the clamp? Maybe rotate the clamp forward some or maybe even backwards?
You may need a wider crank.

The cable isnt even connected. 
I ran to the shed and afaik nothing is blocking. I'll check again in broad daylight tomorrow.

I did some desk research and 108mm seems to be a bit narrow isn't it? Just this specific Gigapipe comes in 108, 113 and 118 mm.

Hard to tell from the pictures but it seems the fd is rotated with the tail too far out and isn't parallel with the big chainring. Try realigning it and see if that helps.

Did you match up the bottom bracket to the crankset as the crankset will determine the proper bottom bracket size.

Longer BB, move the chain rings out..
Example.. Campag's last Square taper , the 9/8" steel seat tube version is 111,
the oversize Al version is 115. ie 4mm longer..
the OD of the frame tube is further away from the centerline..
So, FD is also moved out, ... so you, proportionally, move the cranks out.
by the r difference between the 2 tubes. _ .5625" is half of 1 & 1/8"
Example.. Campag's last Square taper , the 9/8" steel seat tube version is 111,
the oversize Al version is 115. ie 4mm longer..

So, FD is also moved out, ... so you, proportionally, move the cranks out.
