Anchor points for V brake and center pull brake.

This may be a stupid question, but you'll be helping me a lot. Is the attachment on the fork for V brake same as center pull brake? Can I use change from center pull brake to V brake and vice versa easily?

If you mean centre-pull cantilever brakes then they are very likely to be compatible, although it's not quite 100% certain as a few older cantilevers used a different system for anchoring the springs. If you mean the old centre-pull caliper brakes, then no.

V and cantilever are below the rim, and can share the same pivot boss.
pad is above the pivot, frame boss..
people have put one of each on the same bike.

the other center pull the brake pad is below the pivot. so boss is above rim.

Another thing to think about are cable stops. Front brakes are rarely an issue but rear brakes can be.

If the stud is above the rim, they're for center pull roller cam brakes, if below the rim, cantilever or linear pull brakes.
