Rigging a second water bottle holder

I want to put on a second water bottle on my bike. I've tried piggy backing the current water bottle cage that I have on top of my tire pump bracket, but getting the velcro strap on and off from around the tire pump seemed to be to much of a pain. My question is, does any one have any pics, or plans for making an offset bracket?

Why not mount your tire pump elsewhere (e.g. under the top tube, on a seat stay, etc.)?

Two fish they will be of help. Can also mount one from the headset cap or off the back of the seat.

There are double bottle cages made. Here is one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TALLAC-B2-DU...-/390357476276

Here are some suggestions for non-standard water bottle mounting methods:

I use two metal hose clamps to attach my second water bottle cage. I wrapped the seat tube with a bit of electrical tape in the two spots where the hose clamps will go around the tube. Hold the cage in place and fit the hose clamps over the tabs and around the seat tube. Don't overtighten the clamps. This has been very reliable for me, at least several thousand miles without a problem.

You could just increase the volume of that one Bottle to a 1,5L one..

Blackburn, some years ago, made one for 2L bottles..

There are cage mounts that grip the handlebars too and make life easy on tour, unless you have something else already mounted there. Some really cheap ones can be found at www.tmart.com.

If the velcro is an issue - something isn't mounted correctly. Aside from that - the best option I've found myself for mounting additional water bottles is hands down the Profile Design Aqua Duo seat post mounting system. Lots of others are similar, but that one works best for me.

Alternate placements for pumps for touring bikes have been long frame fit pumps, along the left seatstay ..

What kind of bike is it? I like handle bar mounts they look old school.

This is an inexpensive Bell brand mount from either the Target' or "The Walmart" Sorry I thought the pic was better.

This is a single Minoura mount that mounts to the bar with some U bolts.
