Shimano / Micro Tech compatibility
I recently bought a new Felt F 85 (my fleet had slimmed ) and it came with Micro Tech components. I do not like the ergonomics of the shift levers and want to swap out for Shimano 105.
Does anyone know if the Micro Tech derailleurs would be compatible with the 105 levers or if I need to swap everything?
Thanks and I appreciate the help.

Microshift?
It should have the same actuation ratio as Shimano, I've seen bikes spec'd with Microshift derailers and Shimano STIs, they seem to be an OEM drop-in economy option replacement.

Microshift components do use the same cable pull and geometry as Shimano so you can mix-and-match at will.

Thanks a lot folks.
It is MicroShift not Tech. I have been planning to replace the levers and it occured to me that I may be spending even more money than I wanted to. I bought this bike as a way to keep my other Felt safe while riding in our recent wet winter. So far I have replaced the wheelset, the bars and the saddle. Next the shift levers. The quest for a bargain is always tough...
thanks again!

I replaced the Microshift (shotgun shifters I called them; they were LOUD!) w/105s on my Felt Z6 and things work just great. I got numbness in my fingers from the MS shifters; no problems w/Shimano.
