Unusual Freewheel Tool
I picked up an old French bike a few days ago and there was a bunch of old bike tools included with it.
Included in the bag of tools was the little tool pictured here, which I assume is probably a freewheel remover tool of some sort.
Or maybe not.
It is about 7/8 inch OD.
Does anyone recognise it ?? What does it fit ??
Suntour & Shimano it aint.

Could be an Atom tool. Bring it to your LBS and compare it to their Phil tool or a Park FR-4 and see if the splines and diameter match up. Andy.

i have one like that. it matches up to a park one. i don't use the one pictured due to the thick walls. the park one has thin walls so the hub does not need to be taken apart to remove the freewheel

It fits Maillard freewheels called Atom or Normandy (old version) ], and also freewheels marketed by Schwinn under the Schwinn or Schwinn Approved, in the days when they were still sourcing out of Europe.
