6600 and 6700 shifters compatible?

I'm wanting to use 6600 levers with a 6700 group. No problems with 6600 (or 5600 105) compatibility?

Thanks!

Shimano road stuff is all cross-compatible with itself as far as I know.

Pretty sure they changed the brake and front derailleur pull ratios. Better find out for sure before you buy anything.

The Shimano chart says that the 6700 levers work with 6600 brakes (though not ideally) but that you shouldn't use 6600 levers with 6700 brakes. I've read that the front shifter can be tuned to work alright either way, though.

Rear derailleur, yes, front, no. The pull rates on the fronts are different.

I think you may be thinking of the Dura Ace 7900 front dérailleur as having a different pull ratio and not being compatible, which is correct. 6700 components are compatible and fully interchangeable with 5600, 5700 and 6600 components.
