Help identifying suspension forks on old (1997) specialized rockhopper
Hello,
I am wanting to renovate the old bike that was given to me some years ago was used and enjoyed for a short time, then the kids came along and has been in the back of the shed ever since.
I am looking for some help identifying the suspension forks on old, i believe 1997 specialized rockhopper
I am also unsure of the actual bike, it has a sticker saying what looks like ME97D on the frame, so any help here would also be appreciated.
I have attached some photos, any help welcome, or let me know if you need any more info.
Cheers Alan
Also any offers of cheap (or free, will pay postage) parts from the original bike or era appreciated as i am on a very tight budget.

UPDATE: After looking on BikePedia, i now believe it could be a 1993 model as the specs are very close to this

I also think the forks are aftermarket items but would still love to know what they are as i need to overhaul them.
Thanks again in advance

The fork is probably a Marzocchi XC 600 from about 1995.
