squeky bike
 

Hi so i have a fixie bike that became squeky all of a sudden.
So we took off the front wheel and front brake pads to transport it
from school and after reattaching everything it seemed fine.
But now a week later it seems a bit harder to ride, and whenever i use the
brakes for the front wheel (The one that was taken off) the bike squeaks and sometimes
when im just walking the bike it will squeak as well. I was wondering how to fix it.
I think it has the brake pads might be too close the wheel and thats causing everything but im
not sure. Thanks

We're not sure either, as you don't indicate anything you have already checked, and and we're not there to look at it. You need to investigate yourself to see if the brake caliper is properly adjusted, wheel mounted properly in frame, hub berarings adjusted, etc. Look for a bike co-op or helpful friend for some in-person help or just get an evaluation/estimate from a bike shop.
