Duo Trap Sensor with Garmin crank magnet
i have a duo trap but took off the cadence magnet from the crank arm. can i use the garmin zip tie magnet with a duo trap sensor?

Probably. If it's strong enough and close enough it will work. I use 3x12mm rare earth magnets I got on eBay. These can stick by themselves to ferrous metals (like the inside end of a pedal spindle if it aligns with the sensor), be stuck on with 3M outdoor permanent double stick tape (grey foam with red release layer), RTV, etc..
