3 new cassetts 1 new chain jumps on 3ed cog 16 t all the same??? what next' it's a shaman chain

New cassette, new chain .. a chain for a 7 speed will say so on the box. KMC with the master quick link are good.

Not sure I'd Get bike chains from A Shaman, but maybe they do work retail between, ceremonial incantations.

Maybe your rear derailleur isn't adjusted properly. A new cassette and chain shouldn't skip.

So what, good resistance to magic, high magic power, low speed and defence, wields dark magic?

Now I'm done being idiotic, are you sure your rear derailleur is correctly adjusted? That might account for it, as it's unlikely to be the cassettes if you've tried three of them.

Yep, SRAM ones are available (or were a couple of months ago), and I believe Microshift make them too.

And Shimano still makes 7-speed cassettes in at least 9 different configurations. Life is good for us in 7-speed land. :thumb:

KMC chain seems to work fine. I thought the SHIMANO chain would be a treat for the chepo cassette.

Unless you're running 7-speed SunTour stuff. I just had to replace a whole drivetrain because I couldn't find a replacement for a SunTour Accushift Plus freewheel. Now the bike is all Shimano 7-speed and in the happy place you describe.
