Upjetting? Need help!

Desperate for someone to help. I own a yamaha aerox 50cc. Pretty standard bike, it does 50-55 generally. However, its not running great recently, acceleration is very poor, and inconsistant. I have a stage 6 replica exhaust which i bought, but when i fitted it, my bike wouldnt go over 30mph. But i then discovered, a bike needs to be upjetted to match the exhaust or something? I dont know alot about bikes, but i need to sell it in a month or two as im getting a ktm duke 125. Could anyone tell me, how i would be able to match the carb to the exhaust so that it ran great and performed alot better?

Since this is a *bicycle* forum, I don't know how much useful advice you're going to find here.

My bikes have these issues as well. Let me know if you find out how to fix it. ;)

It must be the replica exhaust?
Get a GENUINE exhaust!

Order up some main jets from your Yamaha dealer and go up one size at a time or you could spring for a new, hopped up carburetor and a range of jets. Sadly with the small displacement stuff, once you $tart fiddling... Since you are selling, pop the original pipe back on and make sure there are no exhaust leaks and sell the pipe separately or hand it to the new owner and tell him good luck.

I think this is what you're after:

This is the second thread he's started and he's been told this is a cycling/bicycle forum each time. How many more threads do you think he'll start? Any guesses?

Maybe he saw Danno's downhill machine...
