On closer inspection, it appears to me that the teeth near the top of the smallest cog as pictured are of more uniform pattern, but several others (like I showed earlier in close-up) are bent out of shape. Can anyone confirm my suspicion?

You sure you're looking at the correct side of the teeth, Maxturbo? The chain doesn't contact the really angled sides.

Yeah.

Look at the small cog tooth just below the 9 o'clock position for comparison. It appears uniform in both ramp angles.

I wonder if the OP wrapped / jammed the chain on that cog, causing some teeth to bend. Don't know.
