Chain with bushing for non derailleur system?

Chain with bushing for non derailleur system?

Is there any chain to use for internal gears bike that do have bushings?

Or do I need a motorcycle chain that may not fit ?

Izumi make one in 1/8" and 3/32".

It comes in a purple and silver box and lasts very nicely.

KMC 415 and 415H are another option. Pretty cheap, never failed me.

There are a few out there. Look for chains marketed as track chains, or for BMX. However, not all chains sold this way are of the older bushinged constructions, so you have to read the fine print.

Also if you see a nice BMX chain, make sure it's long enough. Many BMX chains are sized arounf the chainstay length of 20" bikes and will come up short on larger wheeled bikes.

Here's a link with sketches of both traditional roller chains, and modern bushingless derailleur chain. Plus plenty of other technical info.
