Ultegra Compact SG-X 50f & SG-X 9s/10s 34f Chainring Compatability

New at this cycling maintenance thing and its not as straight forward as I'd hoped.
After 10k km, a couple of winters and sandy roads, I want to change the drive chain. Chain and cassette easy, major difficulty finding Ultegra Compact SG-X 50f & SG-X 9s/10s 34f chain rings. Did find some DuraAce for $250, but not Ultegra. Entire crank set also findable but expensive.

Any idea on where I can order this, or is there something else compatible?

Mike.

Here you go domestically: https://www.jensonusa.com/Chainrings/...pact-Chainring It will be about $130 for both.

From the UK, Wiggle has a huge selection of Shimano road chainrings at even better prices. I didn't look for your specific needs but go through these pages and I'm sure they are there:

https://www.wiggle.co.uk/cycle/road/c...?ea=4294789843

I've ordered from both Jenson and Wiggle in the past with great satisfaction.

Note, 105 chainrings will work just as well even if they aren't a cosmetic match.

Chainrings generally last longer than cogs, which in turn last longer than chains, unless the chain is allowed to wear excessively. I typically replace the chain first and if it does not skip on the cogs then I am done. If it does skip, then a new cassette is in order. Only after that would I consider a chainring replacement. Of course if you just WANT to change it all it is your money but it is seldom really necessary.

Yeah, I didn't mention that and 10,000 KM (6200 miles) is a very short lifetime for road chainrings even in wet and salty conditions. A service life of 4 to 5 times that is typical.
