Odds are good you will be referred to a local dealer, but give it a shot.

That's probably right. Several years ago I called them about some details for installing Ergo brifters that weren't covered very well in the owner's manual. The "Tech" I talked to knew less than I did.

Campagnolo use like 4 dealers (persay) for warranties depending on the area you are. You have to call them, and figure it out, some need the guy who sold you the stuff to open the RMA case and stuff and then send your stuff to look at it.
Good luck you will need it.
ps; campy guy here but yes, no wonder why many stores dumped campy for shimano.

i didn't have to call them, just email them with a question about cassette compatibility with my Campy Record group. I found their support is very fast, within 4 hours of responses. After the first response from a tech support, my 2nd and 3rd question was replied within 30min directly from a tech guy. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. I did a search on his email , Google came back that he is quite well- known Campy tech guy in Philly , PA area.
If you need his email and name, please PM me your email address.
