Help Identify Campy Brake
1 Attachment(s)
I bought a box full of campy parts, some new, some used. This brake was in the box. Any ideas which one it is?
Thanks in advance. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=359857 |
It's a Euclid U-brake dating from Campy's ill fated venture into mountain biking.

Thank you!!!

Thanks. That's normally the way I find this stuff, but I went through page after page and could find nothing even close. Must be due to the fact that it is so rare. Thanks again for your help.

although the group didn't do well, I suspect the brake is quite nice, if you have a frame with U-brake bosses.
FBinNY, do you know if U-Brakes share the same geometry as old centerpull brakes? (I know that some frames have brazed-on bosses for centerpull brakes; are these in the same placement as U-brake bosses?) |
A great place to look, too, is Velobase, maintained by a BFer.
LINK to your brake on his site. |
those are much more massive than the typical centerpull caliper..
I have some Euclid Derailleurs , never seen the U brakes .. |
