Hi how you doing I am doing good


I have put another bike together and when i got the brakes on

the rear ones not stopping the bike good enough

They keep slipping when i pull them

Uh... ok.

You just have to take the hoogamagodgit and twiddle it around the thingamajigger.

Quit using technical terms you might scare him :rolleyes:

cable slipping?rim slipping past pads?brakes flexing?huffy?

I'm gonna' take a shot at this . . . just for grins.

What brake pads are you using? What brake levers and calipers are you using? Are you cables and housings in good shape? Steel rims or aluminum?

And what is the point of this thread if you don't give us any info to work with?
