Are these parts repairable? (Shimano fsx brifters + campy centaur rd)
In short, ended up with these parts as part of a trade and were meant for spare parts, but I was wondering if these parts were in any way repairable.
1) shimano rsx brifters - has a broken return spring. I think this is referring to the springs for the shifters
2) campagnolo centaur rear derailleur - cage housing/parallelogram plate is cracked and missing limiting screws
If I find the springs and the screws and somehow repair them, would these parts still be safe to use? I could upload some pics if that helps in any way.

Pics would help. Are you sure about the spring on the Shimano? Usually they're just dirty and need to be cleaned. Campy sells replacement parts but they're costly. You might want to pick up a Xenon derailleur and scavenge the parts you need. Good luck

Here is a picture of the crack on the derailleur. For the Shimano, I am not sure as I have never used them. It was given to me for parts, but I was wondering if it could be fixed. The shifter that doesnt work, when its fully engaged for a shift, there isnt the tactile click that there is comapred to the one that works if that makes sense

Or you might scrounge up a similar derailleur with a bent cage and cannibalize parts from both to make one working derailleur.
I hate to say things can't be repaired, because of course they can, and one might go he lengths to do so if that were the only choice. But for normal conditions, the time and effort required put some jobs in the don' bother trying category.

That derailleur is toast, cracked carbon! Keep it for parts. Unless you luck out on another freebie with a good outer paralellogram. But then why would it be free?
I've heard of folks having good luck with cleaning up RSX brifters; some really like them for their durability and repair-ability compared to newer Shimano. There are many opinions on what product to use, and videos on how to disassemble. Google.
