Noisy 6800 freehub

New 6800 hub is relatively noisy when coasting, compared the very quiet older Ultegra hubs I'm familiar with. Any reason I should not remove the freehub and drop some oil in it? The new design hub seems pretty simple to strip down.

I took it apart but found the freehub now takes a 14mm Allen which I don't have. So I couldn't get to the back of it to lube. The good news is that it's quick and easy to get these hubs apart. Only two 5mm Allens and the bearing adjustment is much easier than the cone wrench system.

Maybe you could make a 14mm allen key out of a bolt and a 14mm head. Lock the nut on with red Loctite.

I have a 6500 hub that makes weird noises. I've cleaned and re-packed the bearings and even replaced the freehub - still there. Drives me nuts.
