Problevers Travel Agent(s)

Does anyone happen to know how much gain/reduction Problem Solver's Travel Agents provide? I cannot seem to find any info on the interwebs.

I asked about that here once, and got someone to measure the inner and outer diameters for me. I think it was 50%, but you should be able to find the thread.

Easier to search from a full sized screen, here it is: http://www.bikeforums.net/bicycle-me...l#post11612850

I just measured the distance from the center of the cable anchor barrel to the center of the pivot pin on two sets of brake levers, one for caliper/cantilever brakes and the other for V-brakes. The ratio of the two was 1.5:1 with the V-brake levers pulling more cable as expected. So, Travel Agents should do about this amount of change.

Looking at the linked thread, the 1.5/1 ratio I measured seems to agree with pull measurements by other posters.

I'm pretty sure it's 2:1. I used one to adapt STI shifters to a Nexus7 hub, and IIRC the STI pull ~2.8mm/shift and the Nexus required 5.5mm (or something close to that)
