Anyone try to put a Physis 3D on a Dahon yet?

I've stumbled on a few threads from recently and the past where people have shared from bad experiences to mistrust of the handle post on a variety of folding Dahon's. This is starting to unsettle my confidence in my chosen machine. I have electrified my bike and I can't have the handlepost separating in mid ride.

I thought I would consider taking preventative safety measures and replace my speed p8's handle post with a Physis 3D.

Of course, I don't want to purchase it and find out it doesn't fit my bike. But I really don't suspect anyone has ever made this part replacement so I have no clue who to ask the question of whether a Physis 3D will fit on a speed p8.

Anyone ever use a Physis 3D on a Dahon or any other brand other than a Tern?

I'm interested in this too. Have you learned anything further since your post? There was a recall of Dahons made in 2008:
