psi question

i have continental hardshell 700 by 32.on the tire it says 94 psi max,but on theyre website they say max pressure is 102.did they improve the tires since i bought mine?

The difference is trivial and doesn't imply the tires have been "improved". I expect the tire's mold maker and Continental's marketing staff don't compare notes frequently enough.

thanks guys,i talked to a continental rep today and he said i could pump those tires to 140 psi before harming them.i had read of blown sidewalls from some of the reviews.so i just sat on the bike and eyeballed a close 15%.i took 29 seconds off my best time today.the 15% works for me!

+1, the difference is well within the working safety margin. Feel free to fill to the higher pressure, if that's right for you based weight or how it handles. You can even feel free to go above the higher number if you think it's better.
