Want New BB and Cranks

I understand bmx cranks won't fit a square tapered bb. So
can I get a parts list so I can order the euro bb and cranks. I am a bit
confused on what all I need. Id like to spend $50-$75 but dont ask why i just think bmx cranks look better. I currently have a 68x113 bb on the MTB, thanks for any help you can provide!

First- There was a time that BMX cranks were made to fit tapered square BBs.

The bike's BB shell is the limiting factor. You need to determine what the shell's specs are. The 68x113 reference suggests the shell is a traditional threaded one with a 68mm width, likely English threading. BUT you need to make sure before ordering parts.

I'm not up to speed with the Euro BMX BB and crank scene. But start with the known shell's specs and see what BB's of your acceptance will fit. Then what cranks fit that BB.

BTW take care that your changes are not for the worse. The new cranks need to mesh with the frame clearances wise as well as be pretty close to the correct chain line. Andy.

There are usually plenty of square-taper BMX cranks listed on eBay, often quite reasonably priced.
