My front brake broke. Can you help me find one to replace it?

My front brake broke. Can you help me find one to replace it?

Trek 7.1fx.

My front brake is all jacked up. Can you help me locate a compatible replacement? I need the cable and all.

Any links would be appreciated.

Your bike seems to have cable disc brakes. You have plenty of choices, but make sure they have the same mounting standard. Possiibly a disc brake maven will post more details, but I don't do brand suggestions in any case.

Ok thanks. The little piece that hooks onto the noodle broke off. The boodle is fine, it's the little caliper that it catches that broke.

Oh. In that case, you have what are called "V-brakes". You don't need a cable, you need a replacement caliper. They are universally interchangeable. Cheap units are less than $10:
