Loud Clicking Noise on Fixie Bike
Hey, I recently started getting this clicking noise when pedalling. It usually kicks in after a couple minutes and gets louder the longer I ride. Here is the video of the sound, can anyone help me figure out what the issue is and how to fix?

Thank you!

Sounds like a computer magnet on a spoke hitting the sensor.

The rider would have to be going real fast to have the wheel revolutions that quick for a spoke or mag hitting something. Are the chain ring bolts tight (they will have 5 possible clicks per crank turn)? How tight is the chain? Andy.

TO the OP, are you careful to pull up all the slack in the chain when you mount the rear wheel?

Francis- I was actually wondering if the chain was too tight, not loose. A tight chain would cause the chain ring to constantly try to shift into the closest position WRT the rear cog. As there are 5 bolt points this means the ring is making 5 shifts on the crank arm/bolts (assuming a 5 bolt crank, your parts might be different). With a 46x17 combo this is 2.7 clicks per wheel revolution. Andy.

Yes, i know what you speak of. I am still surprised at what some of "these" fixie riders do to their bikes. I wanted to clearify for the others that (as you've said many times) a chain can be too tight. Andy.

I did you check the chainring bolts and AS suggested.
I don't think it's the crank, they don't usually sound like that.
