Max Ogre
 

Hi people Just picked up a Max Ogre Raliegh mountain bike as a fixer upper as Iv'e been using the car since my old bike was nicked a few years back.

Ok I have made a start on sorting the bike the tyres say 26 x 195 on so can I assume the frames 26in?

Can I replace the wheels for a smaller wheel say 24in as I like more control as I'm not very comfortable on bikes at the best of times.

Also if I kept the wheels on how do I tighten the spokes as some are a little loose?

And lastly can I change the off road tyre for road tyres as it will be used primeraly for travel to work. If so, what size tyres should I look for and what's a half decent tyre but not a silly price?
