Water Bottle Cage without Screws

I have a new Specialized S-Works Langster track frame that I'm going to be riding off the track and I'd like to put a water bottle cage on it for training sessions. There aren't any braze-ons or screw points on the frame. Can anyone recommend a water bottle cage and a way to mount it?

Cheers,

Throw on some electrical tape or old inner tube, then use zip ties or hose clamps to attach the cage.

There are also handlebar and seat post mounts. The seat post is pretty clean and you can carry two bottles with most of them.

Hose clamps wrapped around a piece of inner tube work just fine.

Yeah, spend $2 and invest in two hose clamps. YOu'll find them at a hardware store in the plumbing section (around conduit pipes).

Or, for just a bit more you can find stainless steel hose clamps at a marine supply store.

hell they shoudl be found for $.69 at any autoparts store or wal-mart. With 2 dollars you could buy one of the interestinf seat of handlebar mounts from nashbar. (see the thread linked above) Screwing of bolting things in proably isn't the best idea unless you don't care about he value of the bike at all, but if you sparypaint the clamps before you put them on, it won't look half bad.

The Zefal Bottle cage mounts look nice when mounted. They don't grab a shiny paint job too well, but with double sided carpet tape under them they grab fine.

Zefal Gizmo clamps.

Here's what I posted in the other thread, in case you're too lazy to read through it, or didn't want to search old threads:

Profile and Minoura both make single and double bottle holders that attach to your seat rails or seat post. Pyramid makes a set of clean looking brackets that mount to your seat post and let you bolt on a cage. Two Fish makes a QR bottle cage that appears to be a rubber clamp with a velcro strap. Options include a plastic or stainless cage. Elite even makes a clip on cage. If your LBS can't offer you these options, find another LBS.
