Choice of Chemicals in the Shop
I was wondering what people prefer to use and stock for spraying, dripping, or smearing in shops with bicycles.
My list is below:
-Boeshield T-9
-Finish Line Wet (lube)
-WD-40
-PB Penetrating
-Finish Line Multi (degreaser)
-Sta Lube Super White (white lithium)
-LubriMatic Marine Grease
-Finish Line Ceramic Grease
-Finish Line Fiber Grip
-Finish Line Max (suspension)
-Pedro's Bike Lust
-Fast Orange
Some people wonder why I keep three greases around, and my reason is the ceramic is just for the performance-oriented or internal headsets close to the carbon. But the marine & white lithium are for most bikes with the marine going to wheel, BB, and fast rolling things, while the white lithium goes to headsets or miscellaneous pivots.
If you wonder the two lube choices, it's for two conditions.
