help with loose handlebar grips (humpert rubber grips)

I have mounted Humpert Kraton Grips AK-10/2 for AHS-Premium / AHS-Basic (an extended rubber grips) to humpert AHS basic hanldebar with comfort bar ends using 'Mogaefliud for handlebar grips (a lubricant?). After about 12 hrs, the grip does not yet stick to the alluminum handle bar and turns. 1) Is this normal? Should I wait longer? 2) After a week or so, what can I do if it does not stick? Try to use a glue?? I'd like find a way to keep it.
Thanx a lot..

Cheers
Harry

Not familiar with the stated grips and bars but- I first mount grips dry with only my breath as a lube. If I can't get them on, including using compressed air and a air nozzle, I'll try Finish Line clean streak as a lube. it's a very evaporative spray cleaner that leaves no residue. I have seen grip lube and glue (the Grab Ons stuff in a packet) that worked well and would dry tight in only a few minutes.

There are a number of clamped on grips with differing softnesses and shapes too. Andy.

Hair spray. In this case, cheap hair spray actually works better than the more expensive stuff.
