Hi,
My Treck 7300FX has Bontrager Select wheels on it and I am happy with them - I was thinking of picking up a set of spares, but the Bontragers are pretty expensive. Performance has a similiar pair of Paired Spoke wheels (Performance Forte "Gemini") at much more agreeable price -

Are there any pro's and cons to Performance wheels - Quality versus Bontrager?

Also What life should I expect out of a pair of wheels that I am using to commute 22 miles per day 3 days a week?

I also just picked up a truing stand as I really want to care for my wheels, but should I expext them to last 3 years, 5 years...?

Thanks in advance
Rick
