Looking for mini pump
In the future I hope to longer rides of 60 miles or more. I will be getting frame bag to hold the pump with few other tools I mite need. Any thoughts on great mini pump of any budget?

If you're planning to carry it inside a frame bag I'd suggest a CO2 inflator.
If you're willing to clamp something alongside a water cage I'd suggest a longer frame pump. Topeak Morph pumps are frequently recommended, and I've got a couple of them which I like, but I think they look a little clunky.
I hate mini-pumps because they take too many strokes to bring a tire up to operating pressure.

I was at REi looking at bikes for my daughter and saw the Topeak Road Morph and asked if I could inflate a tire that needed at least 110 psi and they obliged. They took an existing bike whose tire required 120 psi and deflated it for me. Granted it wasn't pressed out completely flat but it did register nothing on the gauge and was saggy with the weight of the bike. It was pretty flat. I wasn't counting but it felt like 20-25 pumps to get it to 120 psi and it wasn't that hard to do. AS for complaints about pinching, I couldn't see it happening. I had a foot on the pedal and the handle was sort of clicked horizontal and to me, wouldn't move vertical unless uneven pressure was applied.
My only complaint about the topeak road morph or any topeak is the use of plastic. I have their Joe Blow Sport II floor pump and it is good but the plastic is begging to break. For this reason, I ordered the Lezyne micro floor drive HPG. All parts are metal. The HP is the high pressure model and it can be purchased with and without a gauge. They also make a HV (High Volume) model but it only goes up to 90 psi or something like that) also with and without a gauge. As soon as I get it in, I will try to report here.

I use and am satisfied with my Road Morph-G; the gauge is reasonably accurate and having a hose really helps to prevent damage to your valves. I use it for mountain bikes too, even though there is a mountain-specific model also available; lower pressure/higher volume I imagine.
I have avoided CO2 because once you run out (second flat or patch failure does happen) you are stuck, air is free, and pumping is good exercise, which is part of the reason I ride anyway.

For a while it was my only pump, and that wasn't really a problem for me. CO2 is fine and all, but I always forget that I need to redo the tires when I get home, and then 2 days later I'm scratching my head as to why I have a flat.

Topeak RaceRocket HP. Had a Topeak Road Morph G that I loved, but was way too bulky. The RaceRocket HP was bought on the recommendation of someone here on BikeForums. Loved that it is small, could be put away in a big enough saddle pack or jersey pocket and also have a water bottle cage side mount.
I've had it seven months or so, not used it in that time, but about three weeks ago decided to just test it at home. Was able to get to 110 psi on a 23mm tire with absolutely no issues.
It does rattle at the piston barrel/pump body juncture when riding with the pump mounted behind the water bottle cage, but I wrapped a little piece of electrical tape there, and that solved that problem.

Lezyne pumps are expensive but probably worth it. They're really nice.

I've got the Road Morph and I love it. I've quit using the CO2 because I prefer the control I have with the pump. It is about 1 or 2 minutes slower than CO2 but I'm usually happy to have the break. I can also share with other riders who have a flat. They have to pump. The pump has inflated as many as 3 tires on a 3 hour ride. Only one was mine. That said, the Lezyne looks great I will definitely get one as soon as the plastic on the Road Morph breaks the way we all know plastic does.

I've used several mini pumps on the side of the road,and now only carry the Topeak Morphs. The t-handle design makes pumping easier,and the chuck on the end of a hose means you don't have to hole the chuck on the valve.

Does anybody know of a water bottle braze-on side-mount for the Road Morph, or a general side mount adapter? I would like to share the space with a bottle mount but skip the Velcro-alongside technique "10 Wheels" shows.

Topeak "Pocket Rocket" has served me well. It doesn't move a lot of air. I prefer a pump over CO2 inflators because it gives me the option of pumping up every mile to hobble to work or back home if it's just a minor leak. Also, I know that I will eventually run out of the canisters, and forget to buy more.

Another vote here for the Lezyne Pressure Drive pumps. I personally use the Lezyne Pressure Drive CFH which is small, metal, allows CO2 use as well as the pump, and uses a small braided metal hose to attach to the valve. I've had this one for over a year and have zero complaints with it. The only caveat is that I wouldn't want it as my primary pump (I have a compressor and a floor pump for home use) and only use it for on-the-go needs.

I'm thinking they come with a bracket that holds the pump to the side of a water cage but it's been a few years since I bought mine.

I could design an adapter in a few minutes but getting it built is another story; I already have too many little projects so I'd prefer to buy one.

Mine is not "mini", but fits easily in my triangle frame bag. It's mostly aluminum, weighs nothing and can be easily attached to the frame with included hardware. I saw a guy who was keeping it inside a seat tube. It's 13 inch long and very skinny.
I tried CO2, but they were useless for bigger tires, not always working right, and if you have 2 or 3 flats during the ride - you are out of luck.
I ride long distances, and I needed something that will work each and every time I need it. Did a long and confusing research what is out there that can last, pump tires quick, and is able to pump up to 120PSI or more if needed.
I bought this one at Performance Bike. I believe it was their brand Spin Doctor - model Hurricane. I'm trying to find few more of these for gifts. Awesome pump, and good for both valves with included schrader adapter.

You can buy a water bottle braze-on side -mount bracket separately from Topeak. The only unsavory part is that you'll have to pay shipping plus the cost of the mount, which I think is unreasonable on Topeak's part.

I'd sure appreciate a link or part number; I looked in the past and just again and I am only finding the inline replacement bracket, which I've already got. The side mount brackets that I am seeing seem to be for the "Rocket" series of pumps. Thanks.
