j/k Which computer is it? |
You need to provide a little bit more detail if you want us to help.

There's usually a tab or bearing or something that you can hear snap when you take your computer off, that tab's probably broken, it's what holds it on.
I'd just use a bit of electrical tape and tape the body on. Or use a piece of ziptie and strap it across an unused area of the screen. Better yet.. this is a sign that you should buy a better, flashier computer. |
Sorry...I'm not sure what the brand of the computer it is. The whole piece that attaches to the handlebars is what is coming off. Someone mentioned double sided tape...
Any suggestions? Oh, just for clarification, its not the actual computer that keeps coming off. Its the little thing that the computer mounts to that keeps coming off. Thanks Ride while the days are long N8 |
You mean it keeps rolling off?
You need a rubber shim.. |
I've found that the mounting brackets are usually rather cheezy and may need quite a bit of shimming to hold well. They normally give you a couple of pieces of neoprene rubber to use for a shim; you may have lost yours. Also, many handlbars are tapered from the stem. Sliding the mount closer to the stem may give you a better fit.
If a local shop can't give you some of the shim material, just wrap the bars with some electric tape. |
