I'm just curious if anyone would know if performance on this derailleur would improve if I had actual Alivio SL-M4000 shifters instead of the Acera.

I have the Specialized Crosstrail Sport Disc.

The current setup works ok, I was just curious if there would be any difference.

Not much you would notice except a lighter wallet. No functional advantage.

Thanks all! Think I will just have to dredge through life with a heavier wallet. It somehow feels better.
