Looks like the bike will get here anywhere from Tuesday to Thursday... My parents will bring the bike to me. Canyon retailer would not prepare my bike tubeless before shipping...so I will have to convert to tubeless myself.

Nah I purchased the shed and had it delivered..I can't build it myself...😏 Here is the
of my shed taken last winter it's a 10 x 12..

No not yet. FedEx tracking shows the package is in transit at Countryside, IL April 21 9:50 PM. It hasn't been updated yet... It says the scheduled delivery is today. C'mon hurry FedEx I need the bike fast. Yes I will take a video of the bike. And I already received the 3M protection film for my bike. When I get the bike the first thing I will be doing is to apply this film to protect my frame tubing and the underside of the bottom of the frame where the bottom bracket is located. Chainstay tubing will be protected also. This way I won't have to worry about the paint getting scratched and ride with peace of mind...☺️

No I'm in Indiana.😏 It don't look like bike will arrive today. The tracking still hasn't been updated since yesterday... Once my parents receive the bike they will have to deliver it to me...

All this just to ride a short distance on a smooth track from a paved surface? What do you encounter that will mess up the frame in that couple hundred feet or whatever length it is?

Oh man more delays on the shipment... it's still stuck in Illinois...I wonder the delay is due to Covid.🙁

My normal bike riding distance is 15 miles...Sometimes 20 miles. I don't just ride for several blocks. This bike will be riden on mostly paved road, it will be easy going over bumps and small potholes... Sometimes on trails but I want to keep my chain and other componentry clean..

OK guys, update from the tracking shows the delivery estimate date is tomorrow by 8 pm... It will go to my parents' house. My Dad will likely to deliver the bike (and some food and cat treat) to me on Sunday... That *would* be the final date when I will get my hands on the bike. That means you guys will likely see my video by Sunday night. I hope all goes well as scheduled and anticipated.

OK guys, I got the new bike this morning. My Dad delivered it to me. I put the bike together (handlebar, wheel, axle rod, & pedals). Check it out.

That’s awesome. Be carful clamping the top tube easy to collapse or crack.

Enjoy.

+1. Use the seat post in the clamp to hold the bike

Thanks 🙂 I clamped it very gently (without much force). Didn't know they are fragile...

Thanks I will🙂. I hope to ride it tomorrow and report my impression on the ride... Currently it's in tubed setup (factory setup).. and the valves and sealant will arrive later...probably mid May. The lightweight aluminum pedals coming also😁 I can shave off more weight going tubeless and pedals.

And I'm totally not sure what to make of it. A head-scratcher for me. I've obviously missed something, even though I started at the top.

Good luck with the new bike Cheez! Looks very nice

Curious- what land are you homesteading on with the sheds for you and your parents- is this property that you and your parents own or is it from an other means?

Good luck with everything

Guys, I got the 3M clear protection film installed on my bike. Almost 20 hrs of work I almost passed out.😝 Here is the video.
I just rode the bike afterwards today. WOW....the bike rolls easily there is almost no effort to pedal...and go over the road very nicely. It rolls so effortlessly that it feels as fast as my Campy-equipped Trek road bike!!! I thought this bike would go slower than my old Raleigh mountain bike because it has HUGE wheels and fatter tires but I was DEAD wrong....horribly wrong..... It goes over bumps on the road like NOTHING!...and still be able to go very fast. The handling/steering is agile and quick...WAY better than my 26" Raleigh M80 mountain bike..that bike for some reason the wheel felt heavy when turning but not this new bike. People in the cars and sidewalk turned heads as they thought it was a Ferrari-Like racing mountain bike.

The wind was crazy today (20 mph) felt like the wind would blow off my bike because of fat tires.. the ride was still awesome.

I had to buy bunch other stuff too from Amazon, to save some on the tax.

Because of my hardship of life and suffering & labor my friend gave a big paycheck. He gave me this bike as a gift to heal and boost my strength.

Please read my post above. Virtually all of my threads are not trolling. They serve important role of something that is good.

Thanks 🙂 I love the bike! It does ride much better!!
My shed land is owned by the railroad company. We had a chat last year and they OK'ed me to stay! Permanently! They told me to just keep the railroad track clear and don't pile a trash all over the area.🙂 And my friend told me I will be able to bring my parents here in another shed when they run into serious financial trouble.
