What size bike?

First I want to say hi I am new to this forum. My question is I am 6 foot 2 in and weigh about 215 pounds. What size bike should I get? I have seen that there is 20 in and 24 in. My other question is what kind of metal should my frame be? Like I said I am 215 pounds. Thanks for the help.

you would go with a 20", 4130 Chromoly for the metal would probably be the strongest for dirt/street/park...if you trying to get into flatland than stick with somthing lighter but thats BMXTRIX area of expertise.

alright. um you should probly get a 20" bike (wheel size) and since your tall your going to want a longer toptube...something like a 20.75",21",21.25".....and also bars with a bigger rise (like S&M Slambars [8" rise]) almost all frames for BMX are made of 4130 chromoly unless they are race bikes, cheap bikes, and possibly flatland bikes(i dont know though), do you want to buy a complete bike or a custom build???? becuase i dont know of that many bikes that come stock with 21" toptubes that arent custom....if you want a complete try www.danscomp.com and if you want an easy way to build a custom complete try www.albes.com because then you can pick your frame in the bigger toptube sizes so you have more room....some good frames worht taking a look at are.....S&M Black Bike (toptube options21.25" or 21"), S&M Stricker (toptube options 21"), Fly bikes Pantera (top tube options 21"), Fit Series 2 (toptube options 21") and or the Fit Aitken (also with a 21" toptube option... good luck oh and if you want flatland frame/bike advice...BMXTRIX can help you out.....

i don't think he wants to spend that much on his bike.

He doesn't need high-rise bars, he could just put spacers under the stem

Spacers would be useless without a longer fork tube. i am decently tall and i ride a 21'' and i like the balance point on it.
