If you can't bunny hop yet, then a good place to learn is your driveway...

Queensrider, is this one of your homeboys?

How could i know him if he just started? I know a few spots nearby, though. go to the con edison building and you will see about ten pyramid shaped ramps. learn how to jump off those

heh. hes right.. but dont learn to bunny hop learn to j-hop. very easy. pull up on the front wheel and once in the wheelie pull up on the back. much like an ollie for wood pushers.. once you get that down and can ATLEAST pull off 1ft of air like that practice hopping on and off curbs.. then advance from there.. get a feel for which way you spin on a bank... dont need a park just anything more then 25 degrees
start whiping around on that (180s) then when you have that down get into 180s off curbs blah blah theres about 6 months - 1 year++ for ya so have fun. peace out

Thats not a j-hop(nollie), beerman showed me the light on this. Its a proper bunnyhop. A j-hop or nollie as its called is the exact oposite.
