Mongoose Decade?
 

I have found a brand new, new old stock, Mongoose Decade, and would like to know when this model was discontinued from the Mongoose line. I contacted Mongoose, but they only had records back to '99 when they were bought out. I've narrowed it down to pre-'99, but would like to know a bit more.

If I remember rightly you're looking in the region of 1988/9 ish.
Is it a nice light green colour? and does it have a SR spintech stem/rotor combo? If so then its from around that era, it was a good flatland bike and I know a few people who jump them.
Probaly worth a few quid to collectors, nice find!

I'd guess at it being around 1996-7.

i got a 1985 mongoose in pristine conditon. all chrome. god dot u guys just love mongoose. i say the old ones were way better than todays!

i bought a decade in i think it was 87'.i dont think they were made past 90' .i sold mine to a freind and bought a haro sport wich was a nice bike but i think i liked the decade more.it was laguna blue w skyway o.e. tuffwheels.i wish i could find a new one for a reasonable price id buy it.i think i paid about $270ish out the door back then.all i know is i did alot of pushmowing to buy it.
