Diamondbacks suck.Since you have about $800 to spend you could get a good custom or or Haro Mirra Pro or Nyquist Pro.If i were you and had about $800 to spend i would get a cutom. But if you are a begginer i wouldnt spend $800.I just bought my Mirra 540 for $350 and its an exallent bike.

woah, thats not good advice at all, you didnt even explain why it sucked. acctually the sherman is probably diamondbacks best bike, and if you acctually went to the website and looked up the specs its not at all a bad bike. Diamondback dosent really put out anything very good but if you are going to go with them the sherman is probly the only one worth buying.

i made the mistake of wanting the sherman but everyone here changed my mind and theres definatly no regrets about that. You should look into something different. Wethepeople makes some nice completes. Haro also has some pretty good higher end complete models, i personally ride a nyquist pro. Dk makes good completes though. I would go with somethin like a wethepeople 4 seasons pro or the primate pro.

Dk Genral Lee 20 its good for dirt
DK Six Pack
or even the 4 Pack
But I wouldn't go with a diamondback, they dont hold up.

i think he could get a lot better than a general lee for 800$ like maybie a bike with a full cromo frame. And a six pack???? are you an idiot, if hes looking at the top end models of a diamond back why is he going to buy bottom of the line dks.

hell, while your at it why dont you tell him to look into backtrail x0, WTP Bold, or any other low budget bike. Or maybie you should recomend department store bikes becuases those are cheap and thier frames are hi-ten steel too.

Nice, but I'd prefer a Mongoose Ruben or a Haro Barcode.

Who are you to say they don't hold up? Have you ever broken one or seen someone break one. I'd like to see you break one.
