For $260, a Backtrail X3 makes a good beginner's bike.

Well i wont need an entry level bike because ive done stuff before more of a middle class bike. Thats why i was considering the six pack because it seemed like an all around good bike.

Well its a good bike there isnt really anything bad about it. Its just i have a 30 dollar gift card. So if i were to get the six plack it would only be like 270 only ten dollars more.

Someone mentioned $260 for the X3. I don't know which year. But get the cheapest bike you can find, then spend twice the money upgrading it. Your parents will love that.

The geometry of the X3 seems pretty much like every other dirt jump bike.

They're probably made in the same factory. Both are comprised of similar parts, just different labels. I think the X3 frame design is better though.

I think the X3 is still better than the DK, quality-wise. The only upgrades you need are the usual ones for any new bike - grips, pedals, tires, and maybe brakes to suit your personal preference.
