Hi ,
Can anyone give me some advice on what kind of BMX bike i should get?
I am just getting started in this sport & i am confused about all the stuff...
do i need those big pegs sticking out of the side of the axles?
should i have pedal brakes or brake levers?
how high is to high?

well this really isnt much info. How tall are you, How much do you weigh, What will you do with this bike? If you can give us some more info, then we can help you. Also try using the search function because we already have 200 threads like this.

Assuming that you're going to be riding the Alameda park, don't expect to get "big" air. The tranny in the bowl is awful, except in a couple spots.

Yeah. I must utilize it a lot, seeing as how I've used it twice in a day.
I'm already beginning to agree with Dooley, as much as I loathe the Limey bastard.

This totally sucks. I can't take sides, so either you both knock it off and PM insults to each other instead, or I'll have to ban both of you for a few days.
