How to do a wheelie

that is my goal in terms of my bike. i dont care about ramps, spin move, flips and all that other stuff...i just wanna learn how to pop and ride a wheelie on command and be good at it. heres wut happens as of now. i pop the front tire up high and start pedaling, most of the time i can get half a turn or 1 turn but then the wheel goes down. sometimes i pop it to high and i have to jump off of the bike. pleae..someone help me before i break my neck tryin to do a wheelie.

PS. are there any vids on the internet of bmx wheelies?

No, because you shouldn't need advice to do a wheelie, and you shouldnt be doing them anyway. Unless your 5

If all you want to do is wheelies, get a mountain bike.. they're a lot more stable for stuff like that, but not nearly as good as BMX bikes for a lot of things.

Learn to ride them without brakes until you are spinning the pedals too fast and have to set it down (20 feet is a good goal, then it gets longer fast). After that learn to feather the brakes instead of accelerating, and learn to stick a leg out to the side to balance if you have to.

Ok look guys, yall dont have to be A-Hole, Hey dude first make sure you are standing up on the pedals, now with your strong leg pedal to tork the back tire up, pull up on the handle bars, and throw your weight back to get the front tire off the ground, then its simply practice makes perfect, and dont worry abt some of these imature dudes on the forum cus im half korean...Goodluck
