An expatriate (in abbreviated form expat) is someone temporarily or permanently in a country and culture other than that of their upbringing and/or legal residence. The word comes for the Latin ex (out of) and patria (country), and is sometimes misspelt as ex-patriot, due to its pronunciation.

I thought your name was about bondage or something.

Mine is kind of inspired by the game Midtown Madness which was out in 2000.. it was originally _Mad_Man_2k because I thought underscores and the '2k' stuck on the end were cool back then. Other than taking the underscores out, I just stuck with it since then.
