Let's see those 24" Cruisers

Well, based on the advice/research here in the BMX forum, I tried riding a 20" for a few days and just couldn't adjust to the size. So, I acquired this instead:

They didn't have the RL Proline 24 in stock, but I'm fine with chromoly vs. aluminum.

So, let's see those 24" cruisers! I know they're out there...

A 24" bmx is called a cruiser.

Cruisers are pretty good. My mate bought a DK General Lee cruiser and it's ace to ride.

How is the 24" for messing around on the street\freestyle? I've got an Eastern 20" and I'm just short enough for it to not be too small. Does it have that mountain bike feel on wheelies? I would be interested in riding one and checking it out for some variety.

Obviously, the 24" is not quite as amenable to stree/freestyle--by sheer law of physics--you're moving more mass around, but tricks can be done.

It is still a BMX frame geometry, and so to answer your question, "No, it doesn't have the MTB feeling on wheelies".

I like the paint job on that, I was looking at a frame that had a real similar paint job, can't remember which frame it was tho. Redline has come a long ways in Quality I think. I've ridden redline bikes for 10 or 12 years, but they are far better now then they used to be.

You can still bust pretty big air with a crusier, what else matters? I've seen people even riding mini ramps and whatnot pretty well with them.

I'd say that would look a lot like the 20" Redline frame... the one that TW rides.
