threaded hubs
 

i am currently running a 16t back hub and a 44t sprocket. would i be able to buy a threaded hub that would screw on to my wheel so that it could have the exact same gearing ratio but with a 28, 30, 33, or 36t sprocket. And so i dont have to go and buy a new back wheel.

no, you'll need a cassette hub.

The lowest you can run is 36/13.

Even then you still need a flip flop hub.

You need a newer flip flop hub. I have flipflop hub from 2001 and you can't run a 13t free wheel on it.

I have a white odyssey flip flop laced to a hoffman highroller. Two odyssey 13t freewheels and I probably have a 33t sprocket you could have. (I ran 33-13 it actually feels real good better acceleration and you dont lose any top speed) It needs two spokes. BUY IT?

is it possible to run a right and a left hand drive hub at the same time (on a flip-flop hub) so that you will have 2 sprockets?

Yeah you can do it. But it's pointless.

Im pretty sure one would freewheel and one would engauge so it would be kind of like a fixed gear. But really really ****ty and awkward.
