Front Rims
i need a new front rim becuase my current one is pretty coroded(sp?), i was thinking of going with another alex supra e-lite becuase it will fit my existing spokes which i dont want to change. they are fairly new primo onse. so should i just go with the e-lite or do you guys know of any better rims that will fit the current spokes.

you should really never re-use spokes. Primo spokes are usually trash anyways.

Well I am trying to save for a car and didnt want to waste to much money, aso ordering a front wheel wasnt a big deal. Then my back tire blew out a tube, so i took off the trire and that was coroded(sp?) and had sharp flakes of crome all over the place. I wasnt up to paying 250+ for a new wheel set. So I grabbed my dads dremel tool and grinded/cleaned up the inside of my rim so that i can get some more time out of them.
Off topic, but is one coat of clearcoat enough when painting your bars and fork?

Some of you might hate me for this one, but the Demoliton Bulimia looks pretty decent. I like the Anorexia hub, so I don't think the Anorexia for the front would be too bad. Some of you don't like Demolition products, but their wheels aren't too shabby... although I wouldn't get the stock Anorexia due to the back wheel not being totally chrome. Oh, by the way, Primo spokes suck... ditch them.

For the front, Sun Ryhno Lite 36h black or the new Balance rims in 36h.

That means the back wheel is pushed forward as far as possible.

I was just stating that it is expensive... not that it isn't worth the money.

I wouldn't know... if you really care about your braking that much, get a chrome rim.

I prefer my black rim because chrome sucks for braking in the wet, which doesn't help living in england! My flybrake more than enough makes up for the small loss of braking power from chrome rims to black. I'm just interested to know if the natural surface is better than chrome or not

I doubt it's better than chrome, but most likely a bit better than black.
