BMX Bike Parts

I'm looking to upgrade my bike is i can do land tricks and also go up hill easily

i have a Mongoose bike i bought off of my friend for 100 dollars..he said he got it at Toys R Us for 300 dollars


but i'm looking to buy the following:

AME Tri-Pro Black Grips 8 dollars

Odyssey Black Twist Pedals for 13 dollars

Odyssey Vermont 25 T Sprocket for 42 dollars

Any Suggestions for a Crank...also what do i need to buy to go up hill easier

Your friend probably lied to you. I used to work at Toys R Us, and I'm pretty sure they didn't have any bmx bikes over $200.

If you get that sprocket, you are going to have to buy a new rear wheel for the proper gearing
