Installing driver.
How hard is it to install a 1 peice driver?
I (after 3 months of waiting) fianally got a Odyssey 10 tooth ordered and i'm going to try to install it myself. |
Should be easy enough, i've taken apart my Primo hub and that was pretty self explanetory

its not too hard but ive never installed one myself (i watched my friends do it).

Remove the conenut, and twist the driver while pulling it out (counter-clockwise if RHD, clockwise if LHD); then put the new one in after spraying some Tri-Flow (NO GREASE!) by pushing it in while twisting it (clockwise if RHD, counter-clockwise if LHD). Then tighten the conenut back down.
I might have the rotation directions in reverse, but you'll figure it out. |
Ya I just figured it out.
Wasnt as hard as I thought it was. Thanks everybody. |
Nicely done

One more question, the stock Oddy driver has four pawls, but the one on Danscomp only shows three.
Will I notice the difference? |
